Description

Ghent cuberdons

The cuberdon, called a neuzeke in Ghent, has a cone shape with a firm shell and a liquid centre with an intense raspberry flavour. Each sweet is about 2.5 cm wide.

Made to a traditional recipe dating back to 1873. The contrast between the lightly crusted shell and the syrup inside is what makes it recognisable.

Two sizes

Half a kilo for at home or a full kilo to share.
Ingredients

sugar, gelling agent (gum arabic), glucose syrup, water, gelatin, raspberry flavoring, colorings E120, E153. Allergens: may contain traces of sulfites.
